I heard a rumor that Mr. Serling was part Cayuga Indian, and this was one of the reasons why he so arduously fought racism, and was a provacateur against it, via his anti-racial themes in The Twilight Zone. True?

The Serlings have a summer home on Cayuga Lake in upstate New York, and it was a revered place for Rod. It was his refuge from Hollywood. But he had no Cayuga Indian ancestors.
