Of all that we look forward to
When New Year’s Eve arrives
The marathon of Twilight Zone
Is utmost in our lives.
Though episodes are on all year
They’re scattered here and there
With this, don’t even use remote
No, never leave my chair.
Humanitarian was he
His stories volumes speak
Rod Serling touches every soul
Brilliant a man, unique.
For now I have to say good bye
Don’t want to miss a thing
His writing truly masterful
A storyteller King.
He makes us think with every word
His legacy, divine
No doubt Rod Serling left his print
So on and on he’ll shine
